There is 4 settings per channel for FM and PCM on the YM... L, R, LR, silence. Using 2 channels for doing smooth sliding does not count in this context :P
SNES does give you 128 steps for left and right side separately per channel.

Don't even bother with Youtube. I don't want to trash them, they're a great resource. But their comment pages have a tendency to become...how do I put this nicely? A hopeless abyss of sub-literate ignorance for laidless children of the hipster damned, condemned to flame and troll each other for all eternity.

Okay, that was the mean way. But they deserve it. Thank goodness for boards like this.

I'd better talk about music now. Of all the great pieces on the Genny, the wrestler themes from WWF Royal Rumble were some of my favorites. The fact that each wrestler had his own good-sounding theme was great to begin with, but they were surprisingly faithful to the WWF originals. Sometimes I'd just sit there for an hour listening to them.
