he has more experience at creating FM instruments... ADSR cannot be turned off BTW
I really like Batarang and I always Do. Great tunes
PSG and PCM could do wonders with them... Win version of my tracker is not coming along too fast...

I know that. I mean't what is the best algorithm to use? and is there some kind of math to adjusting the "mult" so that the harmonics work together?
And it sounds like the was no ADSR used, it sounds like the sounds just come on then stay consistant then turn off, instead of gradually coming on and off.
Fast attack, fast decay, long sustain, soft release..... all is in the ADSR settings. The Algorithm depends on instrument, different algos can be used for different sounds.... only way to learn is to experiment.

Thanks! If you have any criticism, don't hold back. I'm just beginning to grasp using all of the effects.. and was going to use some panning on "I always do" but couldn't get it to work.
Well I'm eagerly awaiting itI've tried the alpha a little but couldn't understand some things and thought I'd wait for a later version.
Not sure if this is what you mean by wawawa, but if you change the DT (detune) value of all operators to zero, this will remove all the "sway" from the instrument (I think).
I didn't turn ADSR off as no sound would be heard. I did however use the effect for volume control for fades, which is very noticeable in the "ocean machine" track.
Here are the tunes in TFM format if you'd like to study them. I didn't make any instruments from scratch, I use the ones that came with the program or the occasional ripped instrument, using effects to shape the notes..

Here's a new tune:

Oh and did anyone know about this? Midi sequencer in the works for the MD.

This is pretty interestingOn related note, MD tracker will have MD doing the sound in real time in v0.6a (Win version BTW).
I like all about Autumn Ring King, except the hat instrument. Really good tune.

What software are you guys using to make those tunes?
MD Tracker(which is not publically available) and TFM Music Maker.

I have a Novation Supernova sitting right next to me but damn I want one of those.
Not sure what that means for my music-making but it looks pretty sweet having the MD plugged in like some alien instrument.
Thanks for the comment, I decided to rework the drums and bass quite a bit.
Here's yet another tune, and an update to the previous track. Both in stereo

How do you get this program? Does it support MIDI File input so i could convert this into the native format and assign appropriate instruments?
You download the program... Google helps with that.
And nobody here is converting MIDIs, all work has been done manually (at least in my case)... ?

Ah ok but could I use something like ModPlug Tracker or Audacity with PSG and OPL samples?
