My fault. Last I searched it wasn't there; should've checked again. By any chance do you know whether there's an optimal path/finale? I've got one result that was pretty different from the others, and it certainly wasn't based on good performance.
@ the review: I actually don't think it looks terrible on SCD, it's the slows that kill it as Night Striker is a very fast game. Also, the comparison to Space Harrier shouldn't be overdone as it lacks two of SH's trademarks: field obstacles (the few are more like landmarks) and pitching--the car is always on a plane, meaning less of a 3D feel and a slight amount of difficulty seeing round oneself. It's really not a problem but it could be disappointing to those expecting SH's mechanics. Another distinction is that it has several road like areas where one's flying over a road, canal, &c confined to a wendy central portion of screen.
Best played on Hard or the bosses will succumb too soon.
And am I the only one who sees a resemblance to an airborne Delorean?

Man Starmist, I've tried to play Gods for a review and it's a pretty terrible and difficult game for sure, definitely not something I could sit through. Maybe with a Game Genie I could though. I'll take another look at it and update if it's something I could take on.

It just plays too fast for me, the Amiga original seems to be a better game. The Coop, I'll give it one more try and see what I can do with it and let you know if I can take it on or not.
Thanks
Hi Melf,
I'm sorry to be troubling you again with this matter but the article didn't show up on Thursday.
Just to let you know subscriptions to this tournament (advertised in the article) will end up today (8th of June 2012).
So if by any chance you happen to publish it later than today, the text about the subscriptions will have to be removed.
Thanks.
Review Site Suggestion: By any chance could each machine's list of unreviewed games be appended (after the letter Z) on the Reviews Lists? They might be initialed by a query or capital delta/pi/...and so on, the point being any odd sign at the alphabet's end would be enough to arouse the browsing reader's curiosity. This seems a simple measure that might spur a few more submissions as most members would be surprised to see how many games remain to be written up and they're unlikely to be reminded by the few lists buried here on the forums.
re Bart vs the Space Mutants: I've a batch of screenshots ready though they're very topheavy towards the game's beginning; if you're ready for the article to go up I can send what there is (given that the versions' differences are typical and nothing really shocking crops up later), otherwise I'll add a few later shots some time soon. It's really unpleasant playing a game for screenshots. Multiply that for multiple versions of a game.
@ VGC = that's a lot of reviews in your link. Oddly enough I just read the Soccer Kid one a few days before noticing your sig link. Don't take the noncommitment amiss, I've not played the game yet so the hate mail will have to take a rain check, I only read it to be sure I wasn't looking at a broken port.
