@acdc good luck with Indiana Jones, that game is an atrocious mess that I refuse to touch even with a 39 1/2 foot pole!

@the coop, go and review Gods; you seem to be the top Amiga conversion afficionado here. I'm going to review several more games though as I just went through my collection.

Go for it mate, I'd like to read it. After the notices here I gave the game a spin with Smurfette or whatever her name is and was surprised to find it none too bad; whether you agree with that or not, knowing you a bit now I feel it safe to say there'd likely be fewer lewd thoughts coming from your pen than mine.

Also football seems to be very poorly represented: European Club Soccer, Fever Pitch (Head-On Soccer), and the later Fifas are all missing.

@ VGC = what are you adding?

Alrighty then. I'll add it to my list, now that I finally have some time to continue working on my side by side by side, and RDF.

I have Pelé, Fever Pitch, FIFA Soccer '98 and Striker here. But after reviewing three Soccer Games in a row (Ultimate-Soccer, Super Kick-Off and Fifa Soccer 32X) I felt I needed a break from the genre. I may take them on one day, but if anyone feels like reviewing one of these before me, feel free to go ahead.

Does anyone like Strategic war Games? There are quite a Lot of strategy games by KOEI that haven't been reviewed yet (Nobunaga's Ambition, PTO, Romance of the three Kingdoms II, Uncharted Waters etc...). Other strategy Games are also still awaiting coverage, like Power Monger for example.

/edit: Added Fever Pitch to my to-do-list. The others are momentarily still up for grabs if anyone feels like reviewing them.

The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?

^ The football games were a suggestion for someone who I supposed likes the sport. Not me. Dino Dini's Soccer is also missing.

Currently I'm playing a bunch of old US sports titles which include Dick Vitale's College Hoops, Devil's Course 3-D Golf (of particular interest since I know and own the Saturn game), Foreman For Real, Double Dribble Playoff Edition, and David Crane's Amazing Tennis. If any of these holds my interest and is indeed missing from the review set a review would be no effort since I'm screwing with them on Kega to begin with. I might bang around with some of the old racers as well.

I'm not volunteering but Uncharted really needs an article. Likewise F-15 Strike Eagle II, it seems a pretty common game.
It's also strange there's no review of Cheese Catastrophe with Speedy Gonzales (whilst I've a PAL player's ear).

Oh, I loved Power Monger. I'll hold off on grabbing it until I submit another claimed review though. I should have Psycho Pinball in this week and have made decent progress on Lord Monarch to think I should have it ready not long after. I think I'm giving up on Rent-A-Hero, seeing as I don't think I could write much about it without understanding the dialogue (and the translation has yet to surface).

I might give Genghis Khan II a shot at some point, though I'd want to put a lot more time into it first. (I played it heavily for a weekend with my girlfriend, but haven't touched it since then.)

I have most of the Koei games for Genesis, but GKII is the only one I've really played so far. It's very addictive once you get past the steep initial learning curve, which seems to be the Koei template but also tends to relegate their games to the back burner.

Man, that was the best game of the bunch...

So before anybody nabs it I can say that the review to Dick Vitale's is done. Only I'd like to give the game short shrift in the hope of finding some redeeming qualities; if they crop up I'll put them in the review, but there are only so many ways delve into a sports game that I foresee no surprises.

EDIT = Bart vs the Space Mutants screenshots sent. Dick Vitale is also finished but I'll wait for word from you Melf.

No dude, the game doesn't play like 20% faster, it plays at more like 200% speed, as far as I'm concerned it looks like a Benny Hill sketch.

Maybe they simply made the 25fps game run at 50fps? does that make sense?

The article is ready to go up tomorrow. I was going to publish it next week, but Ed Annunziata still owes me answers to a few questions, so I want to give him some time. I used mostly pics from what you sent, but I had to find a few others so that both the Gen and NES versions would be of the same locations in each pic. I only had to find 2, I think, so thanks for sending those in!

acdc, the game was released on cartridge at least in North America as I own a complete copy. Thanks for falling on your sword for the team on that one as it's definitely a POS!

I submitted my review for Wimbledon Championship Tennis as well so look for that underwhelming game soon too!

All of the reviews I claimed a while back are officially open again.

NFL Primetime, and NBA Live 98. Still interested in reviewing them, but not any time soon. If anyone is interested go ahead.

I'd like to claim Muhamad Ali Boxing. Should be written pretty soon.
I don't play old stuff for nostalgia, I play old stuff because the games are better.

I would be interested in NBA Live 98. I'm still waiting for my first review to be published, though, so I'm in no hurry. If you get back to it before I do, that's cool with me.
