@ Melf: I sent you something. Tell me whether you got/want it.

@ acdc: looking forward to your review. Although your earlier post #957 hit it right on the head.

Probably to avoid people asking about the five stars on his head.

Anyway, I e-mailed the Psycho Pinball review. I log into WP fine, but once I click on the dashboard, I get this:

    Here are some suggestions:
    Reload this webpage later.

Doesn't matter which browser I'm using.

I contacted Nick about that, and he said he would tell the webmaster. I mentioned that and the fact that attachments keep appearing as the word instead of the reduced image, as they should.

I tried to put it up last week, but it's giving me problems. Apparently, being as text and image heavy as it is, WordPress crashes when I try to add any more to it. I don't know if it's a setting in the installation or something, but this has happened before. I may have to eliminate images in order for all the text to work.

could you Split the Feature up in two parts (Page 1 and page 2)? I'd really hate to see the screenshots go, and I'm really interested in Zebbe's Update as well...

WolrdPress doesn't allow for multiple pages within a single article. I'd have to break it up into two separate features.

OK, as a temporary solution, maybe you can upload the screenshots in the first post in the forum thread of the feature (or I can do it, if you want). What matters most is the text, anyway.

Melf, have you asked about this in the WordPress support forums? I was able to find some eight-year-old posts about a similar issue, and one poster claimed certain key words can cause problems, like "lynx", "curl" and so forth. I doubt that's still true, but...

No one has done Centurion? I'd like to claim Powermonger and it if possible. I'll have Lord Monarch in early this week soon. Screenshots are probably going to be limited to the six I pulled from Sega's Virtual Console site for the game since I've been playing through it on my X'Eye, unless actual pictures of the screen are fine.

Edit: Not that soon, but today/tomorrow.

Edit: Registration holds and Dust: An Elysian Tail. I'm done now, so soon.

I'll be looking forward to all of those reviews! The strategy/sim games are definitely underrepresented in the site's review roster.

I think Phantar's post from a few weeks ago reminded people just how many Genesis strategy games are still waiting to be covered. I tend to think "everything" has already been reviewed here, so it's always surprising to see a recognizable and good game left untouched for whatever reason.

I'm going to try and write my review for Devil's Course before I leave on vacation Wednesday night. Can't promise that just yet though. I have stated in the past that I want to do a hands on for Golden Axe Warrior for the Sega Master System and I have now finally started playing it but man is it a challenging Zelda clone. Not sure when that article will be written though.

My hands on for the Original Thunder Force will have to go on the back burner at least for a few weeks or so.

I wish I could help out with those strategy games too but I can't get into the genre very well and probably would not be able to accurately review them for you guys. Love to see more of them though and don't forget about the great game Third World War for the Sega CD, it hasn't been covered yet either.

Hands On: Thunder Force V: Perfect System (Playstation)
Hands On: Sonic The Hedgehog Pocket Adventure (Neo Geo Pocket Color)
    Iron Helix (Sega CD)

Yes, I remember that post. And there really are quite a lot of "untouched" games: besides the Koei games he mentions (plus Aerobiz, Genghis Khan II, Liberty or Death, and Operation Europe, at least), and Centurion of Rome and Power Monger which you'll be reviewing, other strategy/sim games that are absent are Warrior of Rome, WOR II, and Battlemaster. And that doesn't include Japanese exclusives (e.g. Ninja Burai Densetsu and NHK Taiga Drama), Sega CD games released in the US, Mega CD games that weren't...

BTW I wonder how many non-Japanese-exclusive RPGs haven't been reviewed? I noticed Buck Rogers wasn't in there. Probably Battlemaster counts too, I haven't really played it so I'm not sure which side of the line it should be on.
