Was it a Sega-16 member who made this Youtube video? It was very helpful indeed. I seem to recall someone describing their tortures in beating the game on Easy, but maybe I'm confabulating the memory.

I have this on CDi and I popped it in at my friends house when we were having a CDi marathon. It's so bad we were laughing hysterically. I need the genesis version now to see how it compares. I can't believe this game was even released. It's like they had never played a game before. This is worth picking up for comedy purposes only.
