I don't know of any other games on any other consoles that are like PSII/IV. That said, Dragon Quest 4 was nice for the DS - even if a bit expensive. Hint: DS4 is nothing like DS1.

Get a flashcart and get Earthbound onto it *runs*

Ahem, anyway, I can't really give a suggestion for any DS RPG's like Phantasy Star, sorry.

Dragon Quest 4 is probably the most like the Phantasy Star games... just not as good as PS4. Still a great game though, the original is one of my favorite 8-bit games.

Otherwise, if you've already played the big mainstays (Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger), I really recommend Locke's Quest. It isn't really and rpg, more of a strategy game, but it's fantastic. No game has surprised me as much since Elite Beat Agents.

Final Fantasy 3 and 4 remakes are excellent. Not as good as phantasy star, but then nothing really is.
