Default Got some time for playing ?

How much time do you have for playing ? When i was a child i kept playing mostly after school from 6pm to 10pm and on the weekend the whole day (i was a real sega nerd). Nowdays i dont have much time. When my kids are in bed and i am home from work i mostly play from 7.30pm to 8.30pm and i always have to decide: either one hour sf2hd, gears 2, deadspace or genesis classics.

I have almost no time now.

I get home from work at around 5:45pm - 6:00pm and then work out (sometimes) on the eliptical machine, usually while watching "Mr. Independent" Lou dobbs on CNN. Then after that I usually pop in a Dreamcast game or play one of my PC games. So if we were to break it down in time contraints, it would probably be from 8:00pm - 10:00pm

    Then wash, rinse, repeat.

EDIT: I just finished Dead Space, great game. Well Worth the $40 I payed for it.

Also I just picked up Half-Life2 yesterday for $8 at Micro Center. I couldnt believe it. I had to double check with one of the employees.

Now do I have time to play them?

My last week has mostly been from morning to morning game making... when I do game, I do it for quite a few hours, usually 2...4 hours.

I typcially play for a couple hours each day after work before my wife & son get home. Then I usually play for an hour or two before I go to bed, since everyone else retires before I do. And on the weekends, I play anywhere from 2 to 4 hours each morning to all day if my wife works.

Luckily for me I don't have any dependents - so I basically game whenever I'm not in work or in the pub.

I teach at three different universities and have a wife and two kids.

Mostly, I play at night, when everyone's gone to bed. On weekends, I may play a bit during the afternoons if possible, but mostly I play at night until the wee hours of the morning.

^ I always wonder when how it feels to play video games with your kids.

Are they amazed at the 16 bit wonder?

You got to stay up till 10pm as a kid? Lucky. I had to be in bed by 9pm as I had to be up at 6am to catch a 7:15 bus (for a 45 min bus ride).

I think I make up for my not getting to do that now that I'm an adult.

I manage an hour or 2 during the week (as long as there isn`t constant nagging), and usually manage a few hours each day during the weekend. If it`s raining on the weekend I get away with gaming for most of the days! I could do with some rain this weekend!

College leaves little time for gaming without causing trouble with classes. Thankfully I get a month off for christmas/winter break so lots of gaming shall be done
