Last Battle

Sorry to necropost, but I've spent way too much time playing this game not to.

So after seeing me beat my first few Genesis games with ease, my mom went to the store and asked the clerk for a game that would challenge me and sold her this piece of junk. I am sure he was laughing at her as she left the store.

But it TRIES so hard!!! It tries to have a storyline, it tries to have interesting characters and dialogue, it tries to aspire to great graphics, it tries to challenge the player (well ok maybe it succeeded a little to well in that area), but it fails on all accounts, sometimes hilariously so. Watching the enemies fly off the screen after I kick them always gives me a good chuckle.

He was right about the challenge part though. After years of playing it, I was only able to beat it (or get half way through it) with the invicibility code, and I have to say, for all its story and dialogue, the ending was very underwhelming. AVOID!!

I like this game. I know its not the best game out there but I think its better than its reputation. I got a copy for $2. No complaints.
