Super Hang-On was released in 1989 for the Sega Genesis and was one of the first motercycle racing games ever released for that system. SHO is a port of the arcade game of the same name (obviously.)

why isn't there 1 comment on this fun game yet? It was one of the first genesis games I played and it holds up well even today heck I even played it just yesterday
I agree. This game is loads of fun.
To this day I like the way the motorcycle bends and the overall feel of the gameplay.
And I totally agree with the score.![]()
One of Sega's first good Genesis arcade ports, after the disappointing "Super Thunder Blade". Of course, the frame rate's been halved and the game feels overall sluggish on the Genesis, but it plays well and has added replay value with that original mode.
I love the "Original" mode in this game. I remember during holiday break 1990 playing the crap out of that mode. I still remember the last password the "Original" mode gives you after you complete it. I guess it's a good thing I can still remember it since I cannot stand playing the "Arcade" mode without inputting it first.
What's up with the horrible input delay on steering? I find it inplayable.
This game is all about the music for me. Love those old Sega tunes!
I played the Genesis game first so I'm biased towards those. Also the arcade game is way harder because you actually have to lean!
