I hate the cardboard box.
I hate the cardboard box.
the artwork is cool tho
You know, I did not like Olls' comment either, and I'm inclined to say I wouldn't be glad to know him in person after this.
I just hope Olls isn't the new incarnation of Oldschool, something I suspected a long time ago but kept it to myself because, you know, misconceptions are bad to forums or any form of social interaction I know of. I'm not accusing you of anything, Olls, after all we should all take this as a "joke", shouldn't we?
I couldn't figure out what the heck Oll's little stick figure cartoon was trying to say. I have never heard about anything regarding Brazil aside from Soccer and the drug trade, plus you all seem to have a truly excellent taste in game consoles.
Yeah, I noticed the derogatory use of 'Brazil' in Olls' comments toward you, I just didn't get the cartoon. Well, if it were me I'd just block him and try to resist looking at his posts. I've had to do this with a few internet personalities over the years, and it usually results in me getting some real stuff done.
@agostinhobaroners
You gotta admit though. The colors are poor WHEN compared to the arcade and the Snes version.
That is a hard fact.
I think you missed or misunderstood the previous posts by me and the other members.
I clearly said: "IMO the Sega CD version looks more washed out, yes".
I've removed the picture, and I'd appreciate if EVERYONE stayed on topic in this thread. There is no need for flames of any kind, especially those that flirt with racism. I know everyone here is better than that.
Thanks, Melf, for your attitude.
Sorry, Melf, for my attitude.
I have deleted my offensive posts and edited the flaming parts of the others in order to clean my mess. This is the official review thread, so I know that is even worse to have this kind of stuff in here.
I also want to apologize to Olls for not respecting his opinion. I'll keep the inappropriate language out of my posts from now on.
Sorry folks...

I played the Capcom classics version of this on my Ps2, and the controls appear to be broken.
It is very difficult to pull off the "punch and throw" combo, and you need that to save your ass like 70% of the time.
What happened Capcom? I am amazed how many people consider the CC version to be arcade accurate. Get the fuck out.
I think I will stick to my awesome Sega CD version.

Absolutely, I've owned the Xbox version of the classics collection too and it sucked. Not only did it give no option but unlimited continues, so the idiot I tried to show the game at the gamestore thought it was easy, but the music was muted and totally pathetic sounding.
Gameplay wise I would definitely rather play the Sega CD adaptation than any of the compilations or downloads available today.
Did you notice the flashing red knife bug that exists in all of Capcom's emulated versions of Final Fight?
Don't know if it happens with everyone, but I know it happens with Cody a lot. If you're holding the knife while standing or walking it will flash red.
The US version of this game is a bit harder to come by than the MegaCD version. Is there enough localized content to merit going after the US version rather than the JP original?
The Jap version is the way to go no censorship (blood, roxy/poison etc.) and better voice acting despite being in Japanese. I have both yet I don't own a Sega CD anymore and when I did I never had the ability to play my Jap copy.
"Gameplay wise I would definitely rather play the Sega CD adaptation than any of the compilations or downloads available today."
The truth is spoken
