Reminds me of a similar thread I started a while back:

Gaming IS dangerous to your health...
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?

Sony controllers hurt my hands too.

Perhaps a video game actually did cause someone discomfort?

Well, ANYTHING in excess can be bad for you. Where's the common sense? Maybe the little girl's parents should be slapped, hard, for letting their child do nothing but play games. Maybe she should spend some of her time playing outdoors climbing trees, riding a bike, making chalk drawings on the sidewalk or whatever else.

    All things in moderation.

How the hell do you sweat while you play games? You sit there still, not doing shit.

Your hands have never gotten sweaty where you hold onto the controller?

I don't see how they're blaming the Playstation?

This reminds me of "Pac-Man Elbow".

I've noticed that after extended periods playing certain games on my DS I develop "Advance Wars Thumb."

    I wonder if I have a case, here . . .

but then she could fall out of the tree, fall off the bike, or get lead poisoning from Chinese made sidewalk chalk. DON'T YOU KNOW LIVING IS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH!?!??!

it could be a climate thing. I can't hold a controller longer than about 5 minutes without a fine mist of sweat/condensation forming between my hands and the controller. In Louisiana, if you walk outside on a remotely warm day you will have sweat forming in about 30 seconds, it really sucks and annoys the hell out of me. At any rate, its not an intensity thing, I've never broken a REAL sweat from video games.
