Default Pink (Panther) Goes to Hollywood

I have fond memories of playing this game on the SNES as a child. I recently bought it for the Genesis thinking that it would be just as good, but I was very wrong. The controls are awful, most of the levels are different, and Pink has some kind of weird boxing-glove gun that doesn't work very well. The graphics and music/sound are still just as good, but that's about all it has going for it.

I consider the SNES version to be one of the most underrated games on the system, yet I consider the Genesis version to be a steaming pile of s***.

Why are both games so different?

I don't know about the SNES version but I agree totally on the Genesis version being trash.

I think the SNES version is marginally better, but they both suck. I'd even rather play Spot Goes to Hollywood.
