How many consoles do you own?

Of the Genesis. Right now I've got two model 1s, for some reason with the prices these are going for sometimes I feel like I should just be storing them away some place.

a high def model 1 and a model 2 with a non-working reset button. I believe that model 2 is the reason Knuckles Chaotix won't work. Anyone got a spare model 1 32X adapter? Speaking of this, though, has anyone found that a certain revision/model of the model 2 had more problems with the 32X than others, be it earlier or later? I'm convinced the problem is my Genesis since I've gone through 2 different 32Xs and they both had the same freezing problem on Knuckles Chaotix. The only other possibility is the cable, but I would assume that would just screw up the video output, not crash a game.
