Default Another ridiculously overpriced Genesis accessory - Power base converter II

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=110386267936

    $75

It's bad enough that the hardware is already inside Genesis but you need this device to attach your SMS games to it, but people are selling it like it's a whole system.

Ebay sucks. I always seem to get outbid in the last few seconds. I feel like kicking the computer. Nobody bids for 7 days yet with 10 seconds to go I'm outbid.

If they want to overprice their items they can keep them. People aren't stupid.

I've got a MegaMaster. It's a brilliant bit of kit, but the Pause button is on the side of the cart - so when you press it, it wiggles the entire assembly a little, which of course crashes the game.

    Get one from Tototek.

Buy stuff at the Magical Game Factory, WaterMelon's crowd funding video game development site!

Do YOU have any games you want to get rid of that haven't been reviewed on the site and needs to be beaten for the sake of this project? Send 'em to me and I'll review and beat them! I'll pay for shipping of course. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I was actually just about to link to Tototek, but I couldn't find the converter on their page Hopefully it's still available, I recall it costing about $35, which isn't bad.

I still have to write a looooooooong overdue review of it.

It's only $20! And all region. Besides an actual MS (with card and 3d glasses support), you probably can't beat this converter. Like I said, review coming! Someday...

    Thanks for the find Zebbe.

But doesn't the original Power Base Converter have cart and 3D Glasses support?

I guess if you're a big fan of the Genesis II model, you're a collector, or you're in Europe or Brazil this would be worth getting, but for anyone else it's much easier to buy the original Power Base Converter (A store near me has one for a mere $30 boxed) and a Hi-Definition Graphics Model 1, and you can get all that for about $40, cheaper than the Power Base II converter.

I have the Master Converter II....Even though, it is usually overpriced every where, it is still an oficial Sega product....I love mine, It is not cheaply made like most third patty converters, quite heavy too...
