I updated my layout to v4, no more cables for megacd sides and for power. Only one bridge with resistor leg thrue hole to upper side and again trhue hole to solder side bridging the gnd line.

Be true to yourself. GFX doesn't matter, the game does. If you are intrested to donate one NTSC Genesis for hardware testing purposes, please pm me.
I added a photo of real v4 layout assembled in perfboard photo now. I did buy 1/4w resisitors (don't know why) and it seems that 1/8w is the ones needed for the mod. The 1/8w resistors are 3mm lenght and they fit into 3 holes instead of 6mm and 4 holes of 1/4w resistors. I think Tiido made me buy 1/4 bac in a year![]()

. Well making mods makes you have experience and since these things are coming because I develop the real perfboard CCAM version so the things comes as surprise only for me, the rest of you guys benefit of my exp.

HELP! I FINALLY reworked my circuit and I'm ready to wire it up, but I have a couple of questions:
First of all, I'm referencing this diagram:
The main concern I have, is that I'm still in the dark as to whether or not the GND and VCC points on the diagram are 1) usable for their respective signals (in other words, can I use these points to solder my 5v and ground signals from the CCAM circuit),
OR
2) do they need to be connected to their respective signals (do I have to solder a line from a ground and 5v spot on the Genesis to these bridges)?
Secondly, with regard to the 32x and MCD R/L signals, are they soldered to the negative or positive side of the pads? I can't make it out in the photo.
Anyone help is very much appreciated.
You can never have enough
You are supposed to use GND and VCC from the solder bridges for the CCAM, and the points there are all negative. If there is no 32X or MCD sound them just swap the hole :P

Bridges are points to use power from, they don't need to be fed with anything :P
Putting the GND wires elsewhere will make sound more noisy, but the effect is inaudible

Well, it didn't work anyway. Thanks for your help though.

I own a mega drive 2 that I use with a mega cd 2. I'd like to have this audio mod done on the unit. I am hoping that there is a way to do the mod and not have it interfere with the sega cd portion. In other words work with the sega cd. I know with model 2 units of the system and cd that, stereo audio can be pulled from the av port and RCA connection on the cd all ready mixed. I'd like to keep those working and applying the new clean audio. Although I could live with one just working.. preferable the RCA jacks.
Can any one do the mod for a fee or build the sound module for me. ANY help would be greatly appreciated...
CCAM won't work for the RCA, but it will give superior to RCA sound from MD2 AV out

I could live with that. Could you help me out with this mod. Build the module for me? For a fee of course.
Will this mod work on any version of the model 2 mega drive?
it's a VA1/VA1.8 judging from the shots here:

Love to get it done... I sent TmEE a PM about buying the module.
