I had been thinking of getting another Western Digital 1TB internal Caviar Black hard drive because my first one rocks hard but is getting nearly full. I usually shop NewEgg for my PC stuff, but they have a really bad rep for shipping OEM hard-drives with insufficient to negligent levels of packaging and having lots of DOA units get to customers because of it, so I didn't want to deal with that. A lot of sites label their hard drives as either OEM or bulk, so it's easy to know what you're getting, but then again you've got criminally-deceptive sites like buy.com that don't tell you what you're getting, include pictures of the retail box, and then ship an OEM unit: no box, no cable, no CD, no factory-packaging to keep UPS from killing it. Anyway, long story short, after looking around, found a really good buy on the full retail package at a somewhat unlikely site that I've dealt with before and had nothing but 100% satisfaction from, so I figured I'd share and possibly even start a trend here. BTW: I just bought it--they offer PayPal checkout (which I used, super fast and easy), Google Checkout, and standard "set up an account" checkout.

Please feel free to share your experiences with locating hard-to-find items, really good deals, sites that offer superior customer service, etc. No need for it to be computer-related, but game/computer/electronics will probably be most appreciated by the Sega-16 community.
