Today I saw something strange going on in the online users place...

I just happened to click on the Activity Stream button -- not sure I've ever done that before -- and found several instances of Visitor Message spam:

Why am I even bothering to report these when reports from over a month ago still haven't been acted upon?

Because none of the ones you've reported are actually able to spam since they're stuck in email confirmation or COPPA moderation, and I've been quite busy so I haven't been able to go through and delete them all yet. I've deleted them all now.

Remember, just because they appear on the list at the bottom of the screen doesn't mean they can spam. Most don't even get past email confirmation and can only browse. They have no member privileges whatsoever.

Neither do the others I posted though. Or do you mean they're approved, but have not yet posted, while the others arn't approved? Doesn't that seem a bit weird? You can view the profile of someone waiting to be approved, but not one who has been?

One was in the moderation pool of no escape (the one you can't see) and the others hadn't even responded to the confirmation e-mail.

BTW, there's an account which has already been banned that's showing as currently online. Does this just mean their login token hasn't expired yet or something?
