Is there anyway to bypass the 50 post thing for making a new thread? Ive read off and on this site for many many years. So obviously I don't post enough to warrant even signing up for an account until now. But now that Ive signed up for an account because i actually want to post a thread I need to get 50 posts. Yes I could find 50 diffenerent threads to spam to get 50 but would rather leave meaningful points of discussion. But I dont want to take a month to get 50 posts to ask my question in the tech support forum. If not thats fine I'll just rack up 50 posts somehow. I promise I'm not here to sell Gucci handbags or Viagra. Been a Sega fan and owned every system since 1986.

I could make your thread for you - just ask what you what it to say and I'll post it for you. Don't see no other way around it, other than making them 50 posts yourself.

Thanks. I PM you the thread. I tried but it's gonna take me awile to get 50 posts. And it would be just as bad as a real spammer if I just randomly commented on threads.

It seems the vBulletin upgrade has helped the forums to become cleaner. I can spot only one or 2 spambot accounts, whereas I would spot at least 10 to 15 in previous software versions.

I still say someone is created these accounts and turning them over to spambots; no way are they smart enough to start a group for Mortal Kombat fans just to avoid detection to spam up the place. No way.

Yeah, I pretty sure it's someone, a human, not a bot. They're not smart enough to do that, least I'm sure they're not.

2 of my posts have been modded in the last two days...both them had links to some threads on this forum, which is strange, as that's the only thing I can think of that made them getting modded.

Oh yeah, and we have a spambot in the latest 32X thread.
