I must confess it took a while to work out what to do and I had to read the manual about twelve times just to be sure, but once I got into it I found it highly awesome

    Space Harrier (32X review)
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?

    Castle of Illusion

    Thunder Force 4
    Phantasy Star 4
    Wonderboy in Monsterworld
    Darius 2

    - a Top 5 is impossible.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

No, they aren't. Afterburner II and Afterburner Complete are pretty much the same game though.

I was referring to the overall feel of the game, since Space Harrier (and not Space Harrier II) was a 32X game and not a genesis game. (The same goes when I mentioned Phantasy Star II as one of my top 5 favorite sega genesis games, It is undeniable that Phantasy Star IV is a far better game, but one cannot forget the pioneering elements of the second installment, or the fact that the first one only made it to the japanese MD market to be considered by most).

P.S.> I should start a similar thread under Sega CD and the 32X. That was my original intention, but seeing how there are so few games for those two add-ons/systems, Perhaps the lists should be more like:

List Your #1 Favorite 32X Game:
List Your Top 3 Favorite Sega/Mega CD Game:

    What do you think?

you cannot ask this question without separating multi player games

    Multi:
    1)Micro Machines 2: 96 / Military
    2)Eternal Champions
    3)SOR serie
    4)Sonic 2
    5)Probotector

    Single
    1)Lotus Turbo Challenge
    2)Aladin
    3)Warlock
    4)Revenge of Shinobi
    5)Probotector

of course this list is based on the games to which I gave any significant amount of time
