Actually, as it turned out I ended up catching the last half of this.
Maybe it's just the way Dave is in regular conversation, but he seemed a little out of it.. then again, if he was indeed under the stresses he says he was, he's probably still recovering himself.

I noticed that too. He seemed kind of bummed out.
He also never mentioned if he was going to go back to the show, but CC is already promoting season three, so I guess he decided to go back.

Season 3's in the works, eh? Interesting..
Well, if what Dave said on Oprah came true, than he must have been granted complete creative control over the show. It sounded like in that interview with Oprah that Dave's not going to be working with his old writing partner any more, unless they've patched things up since the Oprah fest.
Hard to say how this is going to affect season 3. Might be a greater share of bitter, spiteful humour, but I'm sure it'll still be hilarious.

I thought all of the "season 3" stuff was everything they made before David Chappelle went insane and ran off to Basnia to be with Michael Jackson or whatever he did.
