That's pretty awesome. How much of the series is that and how much of the series is standard crap? I have a feeling this show is like the Simpsons in which the earliest seasons are the best and the rest of it is crap (Note: "The earliest seasons are the best and the rest of it is crap" would make great song lyrics!).
This is insanity, the only true two churches are those of Christopher Lambert and Raul Julia. We were here first therefor one of us is probably correct. You all are reformation like heretics and all should be burned alive.
Not at all. The entire four seasons are quite awesome. The series have so many great elements it is difficult to simply jot down which is best. It gathers a great cast--Billy West is a genious in this respect. There are so many great spoofs, starting with the name of the series itself, "Futurama." Which was a 1939 name set for a pavillion in the year's New York World's Fair. The pavillion depicted how they thought the world would look like 20 years into the future (1959). But the greatest feature of all is the writing itself. It not only provides non-stop, excellent comedic material, but at the same time it manages to stay highly intelligent even in mid-mockery. Another great aspect about the writing is that the characters are exquisetly developed. If you're really interested, I recommend you start with Volume 1 (Season 1). It contains 13 episodes. You can still find the original DVD set Brand New at Walmart for about 15 dollars (that's if you're in the U.S.).
Welcome Tanegashima. Though I must say this thread has evolved to a higher plane of existence. If you haven't read yet, it is now a fanclub of Bender; and Futurama, in general.

I read in Entertainment Weekly that Comedy Central ordered another full season of Futurama. If that turns out to be a lie....
You know who else loves Sega....
Raise your hand if you teared-up in either of these two episodes.I know I did, and am not ashamed to admit it
. A single scene in either of them emoted more humanity and auteurial excellence than the bulk of most mainstream, multi-million Hollywood films.
1. Jurassic Bark:
2. The Luck of the Fryrish:
P.S.> Feel free to denote an episode you've found equally touching.![]()
Hehe, the evoloution thing is great.
