    Default Sega+DSi Ware= pure awesomeness

Damn its been a long time since I posted on here!! Anyway, I recently bought a brand new Nintendo DSi and couldn't help but be disappointed by the sheer lack of quality games and apps in the DSi store. That night, I had a dream...that Sega announced a whole bunch of games specifically made for DSi Ware. Wouldn't it be awesome to have, for example...Toe Jam & Earl (a remake, or even a brand new game), where you could play 2 player and when the players split up, both screens are used to display where they're at. Or imagine a 3D portable version of Jet Grind Radio, where you can tag stuff in the game with the stylus...maybe even set the tagging to a rhythm with the beat of the music...and being able to take pictures of your ugly mug with the DSi's cameras, and the game would randomly generate which pictures get graffiti'd onto walls and stuff (if you have more than 1 picture in your album). Or a stylus controlled Panzer Dragoon or Nights!! Or a new old-school Shinobi/Shadow Dancer where you can jump from the bottom screen to the top, and vice versa. Or or or...lol, if you think about it, Sega could make some bad ass stuff for the DSi. I guess it's all just a matter of when and if...what do you guys think?

Sega didn't make badass games for the GBA (IMO), so what reason would they have to start now on the DS/i? Yeah, it would be great if they could pull it off, but I've lost all faith in Sega in this current day. Sorry to say

Also, Toejam and Earl... I hate that crappy game. God, please never let that game come back. Ever.

Were you playing single player or multi player.

Because the multi player is the only reason to play the game.

Didn't they make Jet Grind Radio for GBA?

I have renewed faith after hitting a Sega Gameworks...except its a renewed faith in the arcade division.

What about Monkey Ball Jr? I heard that was good.

And Astro Boy had Sega's name on it, whether they developed it or not. That got pretty good reviews, too.

Astro Boy was developed by Treasure, and it did kick ass. Can't believe I forgot about that one. Still it's hard for me to give Sega the credit on that one, as they only produced it.

But yeah, definitely in the top 5 or so GBA games I played I have to say.

I was actually thinking that Treasure developed that one, but I wasn't sure enough to say it outright.

I have it, but I think it's still shrinkwrapped. I'll get around to it eventually...

A 5 second look at the intro says Treasure and Smilebit developed it.

    Arrow

What's wrong with ToeJam and Earl? I like both instalments for the genesis (Panic in Funkotron a bit better). They're both awesome games (in single and multi-player mode, both).

BTW: I'm not at all interested in the DS. It is clearly a transitional game system full of glitches bypassing as a capable polygon rendering machine. If it wasn't so full of itself, it would be a better powerhouse for 2D platformers and the rest of the side-scrolling variety. All I care about is that it plays GBA games. But then again, that's what I have a GBA for.
