Astro Boy is one of the most replayable games I think I've ever played. Also...yes. Sega released a couple games for the GBA. Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5, Chu Chu Rocket, Jet Grind Radio, Sega Rally, Sonic Advance 1-3, Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon or something like that (speaking of which, a new Shining Force for DS would be awesome). Most of those GBA games were pretty good and the ones that were technically demanding, like Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5 and JGR actually ended up being pretty decent. I think that with the extra boost in horsepower that the DSi has, would let Sega realize ambitious projects like that. I think Sega's been screwing up every now and then ever since they merged with Bandai, but they're not out yet!!
Sega published a bunch of titles for the GBA and Gunstar Super Heroes did have a director (Tetsu Okano) from Sega, who also provided the storyline and art direction.
Gunstar Super Heroes
Columns-Crown
Pinball of the Dead
ChuChu Rocket
Comix-Zone
Phantasy Star Collection
Space Channel 5
Shining Soul
Sonic Pinball Party
I'm still waiting on Sega to release Phantasy Star Mini for DSi ware for the West, like they've done for the Japan audience.
"Fires of purgatory, coalesce and incinerate my enemies."
Maybe they could do what Capcom did and make a retro sequel to Sonic 3?
Monkey Ball Jr. rocked. It was one of the best GBA games, IMHO. I played it before the console versions, and was greatly disappointed by the console versions when I got around to playing them. The game was much better suited for a handheld. Too bad they totally botched the DS version.
