Default Medal of Honor: European Assault

I'm playing through this for a review for the Sept. issue of Hardcore Gamer Magazine, and I'm very surprised at how much I'm liking it. I won't give my impressions away, but I can say that it was not what I was expecting, what with the glut of WWII shooters out there.

    Any other MoH fans?

I loved the Playstation original, and really dug Underground, but I lost interest after Frontline.. Frontline started off good enough, what with the storming of the Normandy beach alongside dozens of soldiers, but then it went back to the ol' "Wander around these corridors and single-handedly swing the balance of World War 2!" .. I expected more from a game called Frontline.

What platform are you reviewing European Assault on?

I loved Frontline. Wonderful, wonderful game. The atmosphere it had was just incredible.

I tried playing the original MoH a few weeks ago, and it has not aged well at all. PSone 3D is so hard to look at nowadays.

Rising Sun was decidedly "meh" and I tried so hard to get into it, but it was just so linear and didn't have the freedom Frontline and EA have.

I would really love to play Pacific Assault on the PC, along with the others, but my machine is woefully inadequate for that.

I haven't played any MOH game I consider Purchase-Worthy since Allied Assault.

That game nailed it on so many levels, whiile I found Frontline to be merely ok

I liked the original. Underground seemed to be more of the same, and then it went downhill from there.

Although, I would like to play Infiltrator.
