I agree that everyone should have this game... everyone. But it helps if you own a Genesis to go with it as well. How will everyone be able to get a copy? Well Sega will just have to make some more! Anyway I played and beat this game a while back in the past, and then once again via emulation. Then I bought and completed Monster World IV for the Mega Drive (freakin' awesome), after which I bought and completed this again. Quite underwhelming compared to Monster World IV, but still a great game in its own right, if a bit short. Lots of people complain about the last boss, but he is doable and not tremendously frustrating. It's fun! And I love the music that plays when you're in the area where you have to beat all of the bosses again... straight from Monster Lair!
*Sneaks off to count the money in his wallet* Heheheh.
weasels you pansy
uh...
I had this game in my youth, and I miss it so very, very much. I remember not being very impressed with it at first, but once I started getting deeper into the game I knew it was something special. It's one of the gaming experiences that left an impression on me when I was younger and I'll love it always.
Playing this game years ago is a hard feeling to explain, but I just don't get it that often with modern games.
The game does start out with your character being incredibly slow and somewhat weak. I can see how that would put some people off a bit.

That's the feeling I get when I play Beyond Oasis, so I know where you're coming from.
I wasn't too impressed by this game, but I played it through and had a good time with it. It has a great song - "Passageway". The last boss was very annoying to me, but I got him after around 6-7-8-9 tries. You just have to be careful with the rolling floor.
I'm going to be a heathen and say that the Turbo version is a little better.

The "Turbo console" has a much better version of Castlevania than the Genesis... by a factor of about 5 to 1. I remember I played through Dracula X, and then Bloodlines came out for the Genesis. I was so disappointed with it because I had played Dracula X first.
Even if the Turbo console "sucks" (if you say so, whatever), that doesn't make the Genesis version of Wonderboy in Monster World better than Dynastic Hero for Turbo CD.

man i hate turbo graphx, one of the strangest consoles ever, first showing some crappy, really crappy 8 bit visuals and then repetetive 16 bits graphics.dracula x is best on turbo and for shure not on snes or something else.neeh Turbo graphx is to expensive and its not worth 200 balzz,so ill skip that console, atleast for that price,I dont like TG16,upinion ehy.
But they had Johnny Turbo
And Ys Book I & 2. And the best version of Ys 4 by far. Those are undeniable games. So are:
Gate of Thunder
Lords of Thunder
Devil' Crush
R-Type
Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire
Fatal Fury 2 (blows away all other conversions)
Street Fighter II Champion Edition
Dragon Slayer
Each of those games is at least 10 times better than Vectorman.
By the way, I paid dollars for my system, not balzz (whatever that is).
lol, the worst spokesman ever... "Don't buy into the Feka CD, kids! We had Sherlock Holmes two years ago!!!!!" ahaha.Originally Posted by GeckoYamori
