Good Speakers for Model 1

What are some good speakers for enjoying stereo sound on a Model 1, and I also finally got my hands on a HD Genesis

You can buy those cables at almost any store that sells electronics, as for speakers I would recommend not using any of those iPod all-in-one dock speakers. It sounds like the audio sound monoish.

I'll have to buy one of those cables sometime soon and start enjoying the greatest quality audio available on the Genesis.

PC speakers work great, and they're easy to be found. Get one with a bass booster, they're fun.

I have Logitech Z4 with bass booster. They work great.

Buy some nice studio monitors. They can be found at acceptable prices. Should bring out better audio than as above posted ipod speakers & pc speakers.

How about finding some vintage Sega branded speakers specifically intended for this. (the ones that you could get for free/send in for with certain deals early in the Genesis's life)

More good news on my HD Genesis it doesn't have TMSS
anyways I'll get a some PC speakers w/ a booster, any special cables I might need for that?

To get optimal sound you need :
HiFi equalizer (2x 10 bands minimally), I have Priboi E103
HiFi amplifier (which power amps have at least 70V power supply), I have modified Amfiton U-101-1
Pair of big 3 way speakers, with at least 20 to 24000Hz freq range, should be able to withstand 60V voltage swings. I have Amfiton 50AS022 speakers.
One could double this and gain 4.4 setup, and use of some analog room information extraction from sound setup can make things sound really awesome.

4.4 system is jawusum

...and MultiMega / CDX has the best sound in unmodded state, HDG MD1 is not coming too close to it.

I say: "It is a good system."

P.S.> In all seriousness, I think stereo is the way to go. I've heard people in this forum say they've heard or tried 5.1 or beyond and liked it. I've tried 5.1 and it just doesn't cut it, too much ambiance. My model 1s and 2s (not 3s) have definitely worked wonders in the past when hooked-up to my stereo. Any decent stereo will just about do.
