Default Street Fighter II TV Games Plug and Play

Has anyone actually had the chance to see this thing in action? Sure it came out at a silly price of $34.99. Yet I have seen some at $20 these days. Everyone can plainly see it's just a rip of the Genesis SF2 SCE. Plus as an added bonus, we get Ghouls N Ghosts (another Genesis rip)

Yet how is it honestly? is it a decent emulation or as average as the Sega Arcade Legends Vol. 1 with Emulation issues?

In my opinion the Street Fighter Collection for PS2 is a far better buy and probably the best buy out there for hardcore fans of Street Fighter II. I'm just not too fond of these plug-and-play things though. I haven't actually played the Street Fighter II one.

No doubt about that. I just gotta see what this looks like. I just love SFII in all shapes and sizes..

At least this one seems to have a servicable controller. Many of the other plug and play releases aren't the most intuitive in control interface, but then again I've never been a fan of the bulky joysticks designed for nostalgia and nothing more.

I hate these TV game things.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

The emulation isn't bad at all. It's like playing a Megadrive with a ropey 3rd party pad.

the sf 2 plug and play is perfect, non-altered version of the champ ed. cart with
    a non-altered version of gouls n' ghosts.

That's because it is a Mega Drive, shrunk and squished onto a single chip; so far all of the Sega plug-and-plays (Sensible Soccer, the two 6(?)-in-ones, SF2) have been Mega Drives on a chip, similar to the Famiclones you see on QVC and on dodgy car boot stalls. Apparently someone found a way to add a cartridge slot to the one containing Sonic 2, making it a teeny tiny Mega Drive.

So, if they are a Megadrive on a single chip, could you, in theory, make a cartridge slot for it and wire it up to play games in the cartridge slot?

    Better. BEHOLD: THE SEGA EXODUS

Wiring diagram to fit a cartridge slot to the ROM chip:

This is all from the 6-in-1 model. Anyone want to give this a go? *sniff sniff* I smell a Sega-16 feature!
