    Gremlins isn't a horror film, though. It's more like a ... um... it's a...

    It's not a horror film.

I love the movie, but it's thematically schizophrenic. Light-hearted comedy to start with, genuinely scary second act as the gremlins hatch from their cocoons and kill people. Then wacky slapstick antics as the gremlins run amock. Then back to the darker stuff as Stripe attempts to kill off the main character with saw blades, a crossbow, a chainsaw, and finally a handgun. And then Stripe has an extended and disgusting death scene.

I'd say the Gremlins franchise has had it's fair share. Just like the Leprechaun series. They exist and they have been watched. And that is all folks.

    Perhaps.
I did enjoy the Gremlins (and Leprechaun) series, though.

And now for some candyman: (While you're at it, why don't you just watch the whole freaking movie for free and legally)

Nah, tonight I'm watching Little Shop of Horrors, starring Christopher Guest and The Cat from Red Dwarf.

Looks like Cucollins is on a role again. At least 3 new threads started yesterday morning alone, one right after the other. I wish I wasn't too lazy to open up a new thread every time a fresh thought entered my head.

    CRITTERS!

Got all films of that a few weeks back too; the first one I remember being okish, not so sure on the sequels (still haven't watched any of them since I got the boxset).

Fun fact: You know the alien hunter that morphs into that singer to blend in? I always thought that was Bon Jovi as a kid; I was a stupid kid.

^^That was a funny season we had with the insufferable thread-starters after the site came back. I think only one of them survived the persecution, but had to change his alias so no-one would remember his crazy-thread-starting ways. He turned-out to be a pretty cool guy, though.

The 2nd one is epic for two reasons.
