It's on the plastic. I'm using Goo Gone to rub it off, and it's kind of working. I've got one of the initials down to nearly a ghost, but I ran out of steam a while back.
Here's a little before and after:

With items like that I just end up using Scratch-Out. That will remove the lettering along a fine layer of the plastic. I do try rubbing alcohol 90%, before that, though.

But, btw, nice work with the label. That's the most important part, imo.

Is it me or are the Japanese the best at preserving stuff? I finally got a game come through the post today, which I've been waiting for for sometime now, and it's flipping mint. CD, manual, spinecard, all-brand new like, but it's second-hand.

Yeah they definitly treat their games better then Europeans/Americans.
You buy a game from Japan? maybe some dust.. You buy a game from Europe, LIKE THEY WIPED THEIR ASS WITH IT AND HAD THE DOG CHEW IT!

I've had a couple of cartridges that have looked like they've been used as hockey pucks on the pavement.
I have a Japanese Golden Axe that's like that... found it in a charity shop/thrift store. Whoever owned it before, chopped off the plastic casing on both sides to get it to fit into the cart slot - it's an eyesore. I'll post pics of it later if you wish to see it.

If you do, I will loose all faith in Japanese otaku culture as we know it.![]()
That's alright. I already lost my faith back when some other dude married his Nintendo DS.

Or a beating. A good, childhood-long beating.
Not even Chris Chan would go there. Oh wait, yes he would.
