Never heard of this compatibility issue

I came across this listing on Ebay:

According to the seller, this game will work only on certain model Saturns. I've never heard of the compatibility issues he mentions in the description. Has anyone here ever had problems with these games?

I've never tried the Japanese versions of Outrun and Space Harrier, but I've heard of this problem (the US-released compilation of Outrun et al. should be fine). In the Hunt definitely has a problem starting up on a model 2 Saturn, although that can be mitigated. Soukyuu Gurentai works fine for me, so I'm not sure what that's about.

The original release of Soukyugurentai had issues booting up on my model 2, but the "Satakore" version works. I've never had any problems with any other games (though, I don't have the Outrun JP game). In The Hunt US release, works great.
