I have been stockpiling dead and dying game gear consoles in anticipation of doing full cap kit installations on each one. I can tell that one is not going to make it, but I would like to make a console out of it, similar to Luke M's video here:

I have all of the hard to find bits: a fixable game gear, a damaged N64 shell only, and plenty of determination and experience. Are there any USA vendors for the TV out board?

Just order from Tim (http://etim.net.au/shop/shop.php?crn=201) in Australia. His board is amazing and he is a top notch guy. Been dealing with him for 15 years.
If you get a McWill LCD installed, I have a new video board that Im designing to work with that. But it needs the LCD first.

Segasonicfan is right on the money. Tim is exactly where I got my board for both one of my GG's and my N64's. Tim is awesome and his work is top notch.

BTW, just got another one of these kits from Tim today. Most recent version looks like this. 14809

I finally gave up on buying a consolized Game Gear from Beharbros. (they never restocked it), and got an SG.

This thing is a beast! Can't wait for the official release of the cartridge adapter. Jailbreak has me covered for now.

Hmm, I would be nervous about that but the price doesn't seem awful.

Im about to recap my second game gear and decided to do the lcd mod. It looks like a clone of mcwill's LCD .. im wondering if he gets them made in china
