Just seen Mega Man 3 as your fave too. I've played a lot of Mega Man 2 and 3 as a kid, and I eventually reached the conclusion that for me part 3 was the best of the two. Replay value was one of the reasons. Extra length and challenge was another.

You know what I hated about the Mega Men games that followed? It's that only one weapon would be effective against bosses past MM3, and that really sucked because it basically lead to one correct path in a nutshell. As what I loved about MM2 & 3 when replaying them was experimenting with all the different orders to do the bosses and stages in. How something so cool could be forgotten about, just raised my question in Inafune's ability to leading the series past MM3.

Fala Ed,
depois que voce jogar a versão do Mega CD do Lords of Thunder, eu gostaria que você desse uma olhada nessas diferenças que eu citei. Algumas delas são meio subjetivas e seria bacana saber se outros compartilham da mesma visão ou tem algo a mais a acrescentar. Ter a opinião de eu um expert como você também seria ótimo, especialmente porque os membros aqui não tem muito interesse nesse tipo de discussão.

Uma das coisas que fez querer revisitar os jogos antigos e comprar um Mega novamente foi ler o seu blog.
Vez ou outra ainda o visito novamente para ler algo novo ou simplesmente reler os posts mais antigos, relembrar algum detalhe que você mencionou, etc.

Thanks for the rep. There's always R-Type Delta if you want a worthy 2D PSX shmup. Not as good as Einhander though.
