Wow, this one is really strange! I have never run into a game that had this problem. At first, I thought you must have had a bad cart, or a dirty Game Genie/Genesis... but after lots of testing on my emulator, I was finally able to recreate the problem.
I *think* I've got a code that will fix the problem, but I've only tested it on one level (I took me forever to get to the end of just that one level).
I made two assembly traces... one with the game freezing, then another without the game freezing. I then compared the two traces and was able to figured out where the problem was.
You'll need to use 3 codes total...
