Always level-up after a race. You normally have to finish all 5 tracks (in 3rd place or better) before you level-up. Works even if you finish in last place, get busted by the cops, or if your bike gets wrecked and blows up.

After 20+ years, I was finally able to beat Road Rash II. Yay!

Some interesting findings. When you finish the game, there is a cut scene showing a helicopter picking up you and your girlfriend. The game then continues back to the menu screen. If you look at the password screen, it shows that you are on level eeeeee, and gives you a password: EVVU 6U0E. The "6" in the password means level 6 but there isn't an official level 6. I was able to get to level 6 with a Game Genie code years ago, but never knew if it was possible to get there by beating the game until now. Also, the password isn't accepted by the game. Bummer.

When you exit the password screen and start the game on level 6, you get to race against all the cops in the game. Pretty fun. Once you wreck or finish the race, the game freezes.

A little bit of info on the different versions of this game... Your character doesn't jump as high in the "May 1994" version.

Anyone ever figure out any codes for Star Cruiser? In the later parts of that game, the bigger boss tanks on the planet missions get to be ridiculous!

Star Cruiser Game Genie codes.

I couldn't get the English patch version 0.99.1 download to work from RomHacking.net, so I downloaded the latest patch I could find from this page: http://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=22363

I don't think it's the newest patch (ver 0.99.1), but the codes will probably still work. Will try RomHacking.net again tomorrow.

Actually a pretty fun game. Will be making more codes as I go along in the game.

UPDATE: The codes also work on the Japanese version, so I'm pretty sure they'll work with any of the English patches.

The codes for Star Cruiser do work so thank you! However, sadly this is another game that will not save progress through a GG. Wether turned on or off makes no difference. Oh well. at least using the GG codes I was able to find a better strategy to use past a few of the last bosses I encountered to get further than I had and then play it again normally to get to the same place.
