Any way to turn off the shurikens during boss fights? They make the game way too easy. They need to be disabled immediately.

This is the first time I've seen this thread.
The PlayStation 2 wins at most things when it comes to graphics.

Cool. So of course there's no way to turn both palettes on at the same time for a mindblowing 576 colors to choose from, right?
So in Master System mode are games using the Genesis color palette that has had each color mapped to a similar one on the Master System, or is there a separate palette of colors on the chip just for...
So I've been wondering this for a while but was never 100% sure. Does the SMS color palette exist within the Genesis palette? On one hand it would certainly seem so since the Genesis can run SMS...
Mostly agreed. I did eventually come to enjoy Billy Hatcher, but that game could never have much mass-market appeal. Was Naka involved in the 3D world in Sonic Jam? I never got much into that because...
I remember seeing the jiggle a few times as I played on the Mini 2.
I have a theory on this and it's something I wish I had articulated a bit better in my video. In OG Space Harrier 2, close objects are made up of more sprites than distant objects. But in this new...
Technically it's a hack. You need to patch the OG 32X Doom to run it. It's not a self-contained download (homebrew). I don't see why it couldn't be, though.
That's because I didn't know that those exist. I'm not omniscient. That sounds awesome though.
No one has hacked that hack to be compatible with MD+ that I know of. I was gonna cover Pyron's...
This is amazing and such a novel thing. Love it!
Anyone ever play Shadow Dancer? I think it's pretty neat.
All the bosses except the last one have a black background. None of them have any music.
So did this guy port the game and then just never release the ROM for some baffling reason, or did Sega buy it to include on the Mega Drive Mini 2?
This was a tough choice to me as I love a lot of the music on the Saturn. The Genesis barely edges it out.
Different. There are different instruments used, mainly the percussion. No idea why they changed them around. Also you can tell Hang-On is from Shenmue because the billboards in the background say...

Yes, I submitted the offer.
Oh wow this is a project I'm really excited for! Absolutely amazing work so far!
I saw some mention of the black bars in the background mentioned earlier. I've always thought this was odd even...
OK I haven't read every post in this thread but I hope some of you echo my opinions as listed below so as to validate my opinions and make me feel good about myself:
Star Trek TOS - Great for what...
Awesome, thanks!
I've been trying to post my thoughts in the Star Trek thread for a day now, but every time I submit I get the following (regardless of what browser I use):
Function name must be a string on line...
Did you enable external cartridge audio? Is there a volume adjustment in the Mega SG options? (I forget). The sound effects should always be there.
I just wish Krikzz's alternative was as robust...
This link 404's.
Digital Pictures did what Sega couldn't I guess.
The other 32X CD games didn't have the issue. Was this the first 32X CD game produced? If so then that may have been the case before they figured things out.
