Well, I'm not into Paprium, but I did love Pier Solar, and as far as I know, its marketing was legit, as the biggest 16-bit cartridge game for Genesis... or something like that.
You're right...

Haha nice. :)
I'm not hugely into these games, but I wish someone would make a nice hack that puts the enemy-zooming effect, into the Genesis game.
Just because so many people think that the...
Hmm you know what, I think he's saying that being a collector of anything, should basically have its enjoyment factor ignored, and completely outweighed by the financial value of selling it.
So...
I'm only glancing at the thread, but I can say that it's nearly 100% certain that SEGA is NOT going to care about him copying sprites, or almost-copying sprites.
Nintendo would care. Sega...
I haven't read much of the thread recently, but I just wanted to say that I'm surprised that Paprium is actually released. Fonzie's lack of contact really had convinced me that it would never...
Thanks for the specs information.
Something that's fun to imagine, is that somewhere, there is probably an ORIGINAL computer-rendered version of all these video clips, with crystal clear...

Also I think the Saturn NiGHTS games could be considered a continuation of some of...
I have the small playable demo of this game on the Saturn sampler disc... It probably only has the first stage or two, but it sure doesn’t pull me in, very much...
The premise is cool but it just...
I just wanted to say that Pier Solar has a great flow to its gameplay imo.
I just finished the area with the moving platforms in the ruins. It’s a maze-like section but I got through it just by...
Oh wow, that's wild. I always thought the VMU batteries were obviously for holding the saves. Then that leaves me wondering how they actually do hold saves then. I'll have to google it, lol.
My DC VMU's never died, but I also never took them out of the controller and used them separately.
But IIRC, I've had the same saves on them for many years.
As for making good use of them: ...
^IIRC, isn't the MS version the one that does that? And didn't they fix that for the GG version?
Thanks, that sounds really cool. I haven't played any Saturn racers yet, and the only racer I have put a lot of time into, is 32x Virtua Racing.
^Yep I'm inclined to agree, especially that other consoles and game cartridges of that time, had saves that survived for decades. Zelda, Sega CD, Sonic 3, other RPG carts on different systems, etc. ...
^I actually never heard anyone mention that: Simply replacing the Saturn's watch battery, while the console is on, to retain the saves.
If I had heard that in the past, then I would have just...
Guys can you explain what exactly is the ghost car mode, that you're discussing?
What exactly do the ghost cars represent? Are they the recordings of the CPU cars in a past race, or of yourself...
Well, one way to judge the Saturn's saving is... compared to the Sega CD's saving, before it. The internal rechargeable battery seems to last almost forever, as it gets charged by powering on the...
I haven't played this yet, but someday I expect that I'll really enjoy it.
As a kid, I used to imagine how great it would be... for a videogame to let the player wander around aimlessly, in a...
Thanks guys,
So the original save cart... just rewrites itself for its saves, without a battery, like Sonic 3?
It's a shame that the Saturn doesn't have its own internal save feature, like...
Hey I haven't read this thread for a long while. Can someone catch me up on whatever news has happened?
I'll ask this to the local shops. Especially that it died on its own, while I wasn't using it. So it seems like it's probably a common problem with aging, of the console, I imagine.
And yeah...
Thanks, I just might do this. Just use alcohol to clean everything, with a soft cloth, I imagine?
Thanks, wow I never heard of it. I do have a nice external hard drive (if that's what you're talking about), so I download FreeMCBoot onto my external hdd? Or onto my Mac with the HDD plugged in? ...
