What people seem to ignore is that these early 3d snes games had one advantage over early 3d games. Texture mapping. Even virtua racing on the 32x doesn't have any texture mapping, just polygons...

No. A lot of "chip tunes" constantly break the limit of how many instruments the real hardware could handle at a single time.

I think snes superfx games still look good, when you fix the blatant fps issue.

For me, the first resident evil. Great story, great acting, great directing, fitting soundtrack, atmosphere. My second favourite is prince of persia, go jake go.
