No 32x and launch Saturn with:
Daytona USA
Doom
Knuckles Chaotix
Panzer Dragoon
Star Wars Arcade
Virtua Fighter
World Series Baseball
Worldwide Soccer
What Western games would be on it? I can't imagine the 32x library being Saturn launch titles wuld help that much.
It needed NFL.
Yeah, Mega Drive was built on Sonic and Sports and Sega of America dropped the ball on Saturn.
Sega of Japan was propping up Sega Sports on Saturn for themselves. I love Worldwide Soccer!
NiGHTS into Dreams...
Burning Rangers
Sakura Wars
Worldwide Soccer 98
Virtua Fighter 2
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Mega Man X4
Honestly don't think it was the surprise launch. Just think Sega needed a proper NFL game in 1995.
In comparison to other Sega PC games? Not saying it was a Doom level success.
Wow Virtual On PC did 600,000?
Interesting to see Sakura Wars was the big PC hit for Sega then.
Euros 96 and Sonic R.
The actual best selling Saturn game in the US was Virtua Fighter 2, if you include bundled sales:

It was a good game for a 1995 32-bit game.
But really, it is Zwei that is the winner here. Love that game.
