No one really minded the extra threads before, you've come up with a solution to a problem no one had. You made us go from one extreme (possibly too many threads) to another (a single thread), and...
So you know, you're siding up with the guy who decided to merge all those nicely separated threads in the first place, and is now acting like having separated threads is a novel idea he just had.
...
Are you serious? You made that mess, and now you're urging people to keep things organized.
Wait, was that an example of "really shitty people" creating more problems for WM? This is ridiculous.
Fonzie is willing to blame anyone but himself, and again, you're acting as an enabler for him....
Akshually 80 Mb, ie: 10 MB.
It is indeed twisted, but SNK did more or less the same. NeoGeo games were made artificially huge just for bragging rights. Paprium was advertized as comparable to NeoGeo games, so that is fitting.
I'm fine with criticism, but I'm allowed to reply, am I not?
This started with me pointing out flaws of Paprium (like the AI), and it got some people to attack me personally as well, as my game....
I don't think it can be undone. I believe it's a one-way operation.
Oh, tokay. Please remind me who's systematically negative and keeps coming up with bullshit theories about Paprium. Maybe you were simply projecting?
Oh, I see. Like, exactly how I made the...
The pixel art is fine, but the backgrounds are very empty.
It's funny because Golden Axe III has refined gameplay but crude graphics, and Paprium is the opposite. So that game inspired him to create its antithesis.
That was my thought too. To highlight the sprite size difference, in particular.
However, I don't think he picked Golden Axe III because it's "ugly". It's just his favorite out of the 3 Mega Drive...
There's no "almost", they're carbon copies. The only thing that might be altered are the color palettes.
Free hacks. No money was involved. It's a bit different here.
Citation needed. I believe it very much is, unless the ROM is in the public domain.
Conspiracy theory: Fonzie added those copyrighted assets with the intent of getting Sega to react, in order to justify not being able to ship all of the games.
To all the overly sensitive people...
I remember formulating a hypothesis that there might be different revisions. It was not a claim, and it was certainly not a negative comment either. Looking back, I can't see anyone calling Fonzie a...
The fact he has only been voicing his discontent at us and not at Fonzie. Anyway, I believe everyone's opinions have been made clear. As I said, I do hope you get your games. Time will tell.
I doubt it. People can form their own opinion, and do what they think is right. I pointed that that it's unfair to blame it all on the messenger and not on Fonzie. If that encourages others to report...
Okay, so defending him hurts you and lowers your chances of getting your game? I see. Surely Sega is watching what I post here in order to decide whether to sue Fonzie or not. That makes total sense.
Sigh. Again with this? The fact I'm working on a game is completely irrelevant. I'm not in competition with Fonzie, and my game is not in competition with Paprium. This is just a hobby for me and I...
You think the bullshit is on my side, I think it is on yours. Fonzie keeps on making bad decisions, which in itself would not be a problem if he didn't keep lying and breaking his promises, and now...
If someone infringes on copyrights, and someone else reports it, who's guilty?
Fonzie is a megalomaniac who loves shooting himself in the foot. Maybe blame him a little for that blunder, instead of...
Hah, the die has been cast. I hope you guys get your game before Sega does anything.
Both Sega and Fonzie are slow as hell. It's like a snail race. We'll see who makes their move first.
Why bother? The mod who merged those threads did not seem sorry and may just do it again.
Assuming this will ever happen. Considering how everything has been handled until now, I'd be surprised if everyone received what they paid for.
