Sunglasses Sort site reviews by score number

    Hi everyone,

I think that having a way to sort all those reviews, that have been done by, score number would be great for us to see what were the best games of all time by the reviewers point of view, don't you think?

Sorting options are always good... it's not necessarily the case that the scores are stored in a fashion that would make that easy though.

I understand. Maybe the way the score number is stored should be upgraded in a way that sorting options could be used.

yeah, I'd love to see Super Thunder Blade in big bold fonts on the top of the list

That review needs to go. That and I think Columns (which scored a "1" iirc).
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

I miss the user scores. That's the score that I paid a little more attention to.

Why not include (and go back and add) a poll in every game review thread, so that users can once again score games? Just make a simple 10-entry ballot a part of every review thread.

I didn't say it had to be done in one day.

Well, I don't know... I can understand why someone would want user scores, but honestly, I don't miss them, considering how some people had used that system in the past.

Aside from fanboy-10s and hater-1s there also were:

    - 1 point scores given because there was a single typo in the review ("Wall" instead of "ball")
    - 10 point scores given not because they liked the game, but they diesagreed with the reviewer
    - random scores given while the very same voters admitted at the same time that they hadn't even played the game
    - 1 point given because they didn't like someone involved in the process of creating the game
    - 10 points given because they liked someone on the team particularly well
    - Score spammers
    etcetc.

True, in the end the average score should (in theory at least) more or less balance things out, but in my experience there were several occasions where the score ended up distorted anyway...
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?

I'm all for user scores, just don't make them anonymous. Of course some people will troll, don't punish the rest of the site's users for it.
