Genesis Knight - To answer your question (which I would have done earlier if I weren't stuck at work until now), the game is rated T for "animated violence."

I'm not sure it deserved that, seeing as how the much more violent Streets of Rage, Revenge of Shinobi and Golden Axe were included on the Sega 6-Pak and that game got a Kids to Adults rating.

My parents never bothered me about violent video games either. My mom would say things like "That's horrible" but she let me play them.

after i read this review i wane on ebay and got the game but not the one on 32x i dont have one any more so i got the sega cd one so i was looking up some info on the game and found this if you want to know the diffrents between sega cd, genesis, or super nes just read this part of this guys review from gamefaq.com

If Brutal were a movie then the Sega CD would be the DVD version, the Genesis would be the cheap VHS version and the SNES would be the camcorder in the back seat of the cinema version.

    http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/sega...ew/R85071.html

then what would that make the 32x version beta or laserdisc

Why are Bubsy, Zero and Acrobat in one game. Are they fighting it out? Holy Crap, that's is some nice shit, when you smoke it up all together. Yes I agree, that's a bad combination animals and fighting. I'm off to play Primal Rage now ^^.

My parents didn't care too much either.
The smell of scorched oil hangs in the air as a premonition of danger, while the engine gloriously shouts its war cry...

Throughout history, suspicion has always bred conflict. The real conflict, though, resides in people's hearts. This conflict has just begun.

A few typos in this review:

    - "defiantly" instead of "definitely", twice
    - "not much too it" (should be "to")
