Default A couple of Sega CD questions

Hey guys! I've been thinking about buying a sega cd for quite some time now.
I was just wondering a few things.

#1 What does it use to save games (does it use a save feature at all)?
#2 How much is a good deal for just the sega cd unit only
#3 Which is the best model to get for a Sega Genesis Model 2 system.
#4 What are some good games that havn't been reveiwed yet?

    Thanks in advance

#1 - It has an internal memory to save games, built into every single Sega CD unit. I'm not sure if it works on a standard battery or a "recharge" method like the TurboGrafx-16 CD purports to use. You can also get a "Back-up RAM" cartridge, and that will allow you to save many games to a cart if your CD space is full. Only really necessary if you have a lot of games or if the games take up too much space when they save.

#2 - $20 or under. But that's just me. I imagine they generally go for a bit more than that. Go to eBay and compare prices to get a ballpark figure.

#3 - Probably the model 2 CD. A model 2 Genesis on a model 1 Sega CD is a strange beast indeed. Be aware that the model 2 Genesis connected to a model 2 Sega CD takes an EXTREMELY LARGE amount of space. It's huge. I saw my first model 2/model 2 combination in person last week. I was blown away at the gigantic size. If you have a model 1 Genesis on a model 2 Sega CD it's even slightly bigger.

#4 - I dunno, I haven't memorized what has been reviewed here so far.

Hmm, how many games can you save at once?

It depends on what game it is. Shining Force CD for example, requires almost the entire RAM for one save, while others, like Sonic CD, can have many saves. Shining Force CD is btw the only game that requires a Back Up RAM cart if you want to play the third part of it, since you gotta have two saves from that game to play the third part.
