    Phantasy Star II

    CYMA-C8AW +
    ACEA-ELEN
Can buy Star Mist in the item shop in Paseo (costs $1000). By modifying the
first code (CYMA-C8AW), you can get any item you want.

    AA1A-CAGC
    Star Mist is free.

    RA1A-DRGC
    Star Mist costs $6000.

    ===============

What do Moon Dew and Star Mist do? (Never mind).

I've found all the stats for everything in the game, so I'm going to make some codes that change the strength of some of the items (Res, etc). I know you didn't request these, but I get lots of requests for that type of code, so figured I make them while I was at it.

EDIT: Found out what Moon Dew and Star Mist do.

Question: Does Trimate work on all members of your party, or just one? The guide I was reading wasn't clear on that.

    1. The 'tri' refers to its strength. Only Moon dew and star Mist affect the party, excepting the pipes which are of altogether different use.

If you're going to change any eqp strengths let me know, otherwise I'm tapped for this game.

If you need some equipment strengths changed, let me know. Since I've already found the stat tables in the ROM, making codes is no problem.

Lots of players have a gripe with Rudo's early weapons. I don't but anyhow this is the last of anything I haven't already suggested so here's a list with moderate augmentations.
Original values are based off this chart http://www.gamefaqs.com/genesis/5266...r-ii/faqs/9816 ; if you find any discrepancies adjust them as you will.

    Bowgun = 16 -->> 25.
    Sonicgun = 17 -->> 30.
Shotgun = 20 -->> 25. (I never use these early guns but believe this is a group attack weapon rather than a single attack, hence the lower increase).
    Cannon = 36 -->> 48.
... Guns also ignore heavy armour so their low default attacks will be offset by having no decrease against heavily armoured enemies that greatly reduce other wps' dmg.

If these increases seem unsatisfactory try raising them by 3 and 6. 6 more than what I've suggested should make Rudo quite unbalanced.

StarMist, will work on the weapon stat codes next.

The "start in xx town" codes below might add some new life to the game. If you know the name of the mystery town below, let me know. All the people there were saying something like "Ga? Banaput dote". The town is located in some snow covered mountains.

    Phantasy Star II

    A0FA-AAAT
Start a new game in Arima.

    A4FA-AAAT
Start a new game in Oputa.

    A8FA-AAAT
Start a new game in Zema.

    BCFA-AAAT
Start a new game in Kueri.

    BGFA-AAAT
Start a new game in Piata.

    BLFA-AAAT
Start a new game in ??? (snow covered town where everyone speaks a foreign
    language).

    PAR Codes....

    FFC704:0405 +
    FFC706:0607 +
    FFC708:0809
Can always teleport to Arima, Oputa, Zema, Kueri, or Piata. Has only been
    tested on Gens emulator.

    There are 3 such towns.
    http://pscave.com/ps2/towns/
Click each image to see its map.

With such codes provided you ought to provide codes to begin with a Mogic Cap.* You could also give the farm away by providing players with the Magic Cap. Beginning in any of these 3 towns would be interesting to see but almost certainly game-breaking so don't go overboard inventing specific codes related to them. Characters would also need to be freakishly overpowered to stand a chance in this realm.
    * Otherwise the party will not be able to communicate with the denizens of these towns. The Magic Cap is simply better than the Mogic.

Btw I'll double check the early character unlock codes to see if on reaching the gamepoint where the characters normally join the issues concerning them resolve.

The "Start in xx town" codes were kind of a byproduct of the teleport codes, so I just included them in case anyone wanted to play around with it.

I've got all of your weapon stat codes. Note that the way they work on 2 handed weapons is the actual attack value in the ROM is half of the amount shown in the game. One handed weapons are a 1 to 1 ratio.

I included some extra codes for completeness.

    Phantasy Star II

    AA4A-C4C0
Makes the Bow Gun have 26 attack instead of 16.

    BJ4A-DAC0
Makes the Bow Gun have 32 attack instead of 16, and has 10 defense instead of 0.

    LY4A-CFLY
Makes the Bow Gun a 1 handed weapon.

    AA4A-D6DG
Makes the Sonic Gun have 30 attack instead of 17.

    AA4A-C4D0
Makes the Shotgun have 26 attack instead of 20.

    BJ4A-DJD0
Makes the shotgun have 40 attack instead of 20, and has 10 defense instead of 0.

    JT4A-CFMY
Makes the Shotgun a 1 handed weapon.

    AA4A-DTF0
Makes the Cannon have 48 attack instead of 36.

    BJ4A-CJP0
Makes the Cannon have 72 attack instead of 36, and has 10 defense instead of 0.

    JT4A-CFPY
Makes the Cannon a 1 handed weapon.

    RE2A-A6XN

Don't lose any health when making a paper airplane. NOTE: To make a paper
airplane, hold down the 'Punch' button until your character pulls a piece of
paper off the wall and folds it into a plane. When he throws it, it will fly
to the edge of the panel and circle back around causing massive damage to
anything it hits, including you, so make sure you duck.

    SABV-5ETW
Gain a little health when you make a paper airplane (instead of losing health).
NOTE: Code above explains how to make a paper airplane.

    SABV-5YTW
Gain lots of health when you make a paper airplane (instead of losing health).
NOTE: Code above explains how to make a paper airplane.

    AJCV-4A56
Don't lose any health if the paper airplane hits you. NOTE: Code above explains
how to make a paper airplane.

endless punches and kicks. NOTE: You won't be able to make a paper airplane
    with this code active.

    SABV-5NTW +
    SABV-5CTE
Holding down the 'Punch' button will refill your health. NOTE: You won't be
able to make a paper airplane with this code active.

Most characters can shoot cannon balls by pressing C. Works on: Kid Chameleon,
Cyclone, Juggernaut, Berzerker, and Micromax. It also works on EyeClops, but
he can die if you press C while you're touching a wall. Code can be turned on
    or off at any time.

    RF5T-A6WJ +

    HMHA-GA7J
Weaker enemies die just by walking into them, although you still take damage.

and over in the same spot to get as many items as you want (Herb, Gold, etc). Be
careful though, because everytime you "Search", a chest will appear and it will
block that passageway, so it's best to do it in a dead end.
