    Default Klax

Released under the Tengen label (an Atari subsidary), Klax ranks among Tetris and Columns as one of the classics of the genre. How well does the Genesis port compare to the arcade hit? Read our review and find out!

Klax is one seriously awesome game. The only thing I didn't like about the Genesis port was that it didn't have that chick's voice saying "____ wave!" at the beginning of each wave.

Just a little nit-pick, the arcade release of Klax was in 1989, not 1990.

You just can't handle my jawusumness responces.

I could never get into Klax, whether it was the Tengen version, the Namco version for the Mega Drive, the TG-16 version, the Lynx version or the NES version.

You're right, I just looked it up and it was 1989. My bad, it should be fixed.
It may no longer be the `90s, but there is still time for Klax.

I couldn't get into Klax because it wasn't until I was 16 when I could start playing puzzle games. I was, oh...5 when this came out?

    Fun game

One of many puzzle games I love. I enjoy the goofy sound effects, especially the ones for when you miss a block. I originally played this on Arcade Party Pak, for PSone. The artwork is really unique, too.

1 The Japanese Mega Drive version developped by Namcot has it
2 & not only this but also a competitive 2 players mode which is great stuff!
3 & it controls way better too!
But, it doesn't have an options menu nor that cool little music which can be heard in the Genesis version.
The qualities of the two combined would have been perfect but still both versions are great puzzle-games & as for a review score IMO a 9/10 is reserved for the Japanese Mega Drive version & a 7/10 for the Genesis version.

Loved the Lynx version and it's great audio, you could tate the screen too. haven't played either of the Sega 16 bit versions yet.

With pleasure man. Just, it won't be about the X68000 nor the Lynx ports since i still haven't played these ones but the latter is already in my wantlist, it looks & sounds great, just wonder about the controls...

@stewy : Just watched your video &... that was great I'll post a detailled comment in the dedicated topic.
