As much as I'd like to be rid of them so that they fit together better on a shelf, it's just too serious of a sin to do it.

I never really had an issue with them, so they're all still there. Once THAT THAR INTERWEB came around, I actually found it really odd that people clipped them off. I even thought for a while that those must have been bootlegs!

I'll admit the cases do look a bit better with the hangtimes, but there are times when they do get in the way, especially if you're trying to stack games. They take up some unnecessary room.

    I just leave them alone.

True to my word, I cut that useless cardboard tag off of my Posterity Edition of Pier Solar.

I leave all hang tabs on. Although the previous douches who owned some of these game cut them off.

I would never cut off the tabs even though it is harder to store them that way.

God Bless all who cut off hang tabs for they are better off being recycled than attached to any case. Those who cut are not douches. They are wise in realizing that the tags serve no purpose once the game was purchased. The Genesis cases are to be organized as CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray cases are, as in being even. The tag is the odd man out. Damn thee who cherish their frivolous uncut tags.

I always leave them on. I like having them, particually with harder to get games. However if I buy a game that doesn't have a hang tab, it doesn't worry me too much. Though I do prefer having them.

I remember stores themselves used to sometimes cut the tags in order to stack games into bargain bins neatly.

I only ever cut one off because it was already half broken. Other than that I don't bother. It doesn't really matter to me either way. I prefer not having them but I don't tear them off if they're there.

I don't care. Having a game that's missing its tab is fine with me. That's part of the history of the game. I like the fact that it had one or several previous owners before me.

i've never removed mine, never seen any reason to.
i have several JPN MD carts though, and they lack tabs,
but that is how JPN MD cases are made, so that does not count.

i have maybe 3-4 Genny games with tabless cases, but that is
how i had found them, used...

I have only 3 games with the hang tabs still on them. Musha. Pier Solar USA, and Pier Solar Reprint (if it comes with a tab, I have not received that one yet).

I always leave the tabs on. I have no reason to cut them. I don't really care that much if they have them or not. I guess I would prefer they do have them since that's how they were made and they make the case look more "official".

    Ms. Pac-Man

It's very racist against the environmentalists to throw away the plastic tabs, so I always keep them on to not get sued.
