Default Is there a list of battery backed-up games for the MD?

I've been slightly cursed recently, by the fact that I can't complete a game in 1 hour on my Nomad (lunch break, bus), and after getting to the final stage of Castle of Illusion several days in a row, I finally sat down to play it at home and completed it. Same is happening with Rocket Knight Adventures (best game on the system IMO).

Anyway, I'd quite like a game that I can save my progress with. Does anyone have a list?

Is it just MD? The Japanese version of Virtua Racing Deluxe also uses bram. For homebrew, Wolf32X uses bram. Not sure if you're including homebrew or just commercial games.

Just commercial Genesis and Mega Drive games on my list (except for BBS, which is pretty popular, I guess). I don't know if he's interested in anything else.

    No, that's perfect, thanks.
It doesn't seem to differentiate between backing up scores/player data and actual game progress, but I think you can take a look at that list and guess.

Sonic3 has no battery, it uses FeRAM (like Knuckles Chaotix and Japanese Virtua Racing Deluxe)

I've made no distinction between types of battery saves or ram. If the end result is the same, I think that is what matters to the TS.

    Awesome list. Thank you.

But the type of memory back-up should make a huge difference to anyone collecting games nowadays.
I've been looking for a list of battery only games. As the time has now come to get those old batteries out of the carts and replace them, or else deal with leaking corroded batteries.

That's true. Maybe someone with more knowledge than me on the subject can pitch in. Emulators do show the type of RAM used, but no information on battery saves (AFAIK).

Thanks for the list, this saves me a lot of trouble.
I've been trying to compile a list of all my games that use batteries, because I'm worried about the corrosion issue.
I started going through all my Super Nintendo games first and have found nine so far.
If anyone has a list of Super Nintendo games that have batteries, I would be interested in that as well.

Does anyone know of Sega Master System games that use a battery other than Phantasy Star? and what about original Nintendo games?

You won me by 2 days. I was about to say that.
