Pitfall: Mayan Adventure, and True Lies.

Those are ones are not listed in other lists here.

P.S. Mr.Smith, your guts is STILL mine! As a orange werewolf, I should rip out your guts the most painful way that you'll ever imagine! I guarantee this will happen one day! I should eat it like a king.

I played Sub Terrainia quite a bit and do not recall use of the Mode Button.
Could you refresh my memory, what was its function?

Also, I know this is not strictly the correct forum, but might we also include a sublist of Sega-CD games which utilize the 6-button controllers?
It would be helpful to have a single list which details all games that make use of 6-button controllers.

Off the top of my head I can only think of:
    Battlecorps
    BC Racers
Eternal Champions Challenge from the Dark Side
    Fatal Fury
    Pitfal Mayan Adventure
    Samurai Shodown
    Soul Star

    World Heroes
    VR Troopers
    King of Monsters 2

EDIT - VR Troopers supports the 6 button but for some strange reason doesn't use the X, Y or Z buttons despite being a fighting game.

Pretty sure LHX Attack Chopper is a bogus entry in this list. The game does support using a second controller for additional functions (targeting, firing certain weapons without selecting them first, and using time compression to speed the game up), but I tried it with a 6-button controller today (both with and without a second pad plugged into the 2P port), and the extra buttons didn't do anything.

The manual doesn't mention anything about 6-button controller support either.

WWF Royal Rumble, and WWF Raw.

Even though it doesn't need it, I'll add that Ms. Pac-Man requires holding Mode down as you start the game, if you use a 6 button with it.

Greatest controller ever. every Genesis game is a 6 button pad game some just use more of it's buttons . Biggest piss offs Earthworm Jim 2 not making use of the extra buttons and Mortal Kombat's not having a pause function.
Beat Em Up- Streets of Rage 2
    Platformer- Sonic 3 and Knuckles
    Run and Gun- Gunstar Heroes
    Adventure- Story of Thor
    Action- Shinobi 3

My only complaint about the Genesis 6-button is that the mode button barely feels like it's there. If it maintained the size of the original 3-button and had shoulder buttons, I'd consider it perfect.
