I don't even know why I got this game back in the day when it was brand new... I don't know if I asked for it, or wanted it or what. It just was there.

Nope. I scoured the game, manual (with credits in the back), and the box. No mention of any other company.

genesis versions better than the snes, cuz you can actually save. I own this for both consoles lol.

My dad and I rented this once, he was something of a Trekkie and the Genesis in my home technically belonged to him and my mom. Weird, huh?
He kind of echoed the review; he had fun, but he thought he spent waaaaaay too much time answering hails from other ships. I should track this down somewhere, my latent Star Trek gene was recently reactivated.

I own the SNES release, and it is clearly a Spectrum Holobyte production (at least, according to the box, manual, cartridge label, title screen, etc.). Being as both the Genesis and SNES versions are effectively the same game, ehh.. somethings a lil' fishy. Originally Posted by Joe Redifer

Although I ended up with the game, I can remember giving it a shot a few times in the past, and I was just amazed at the production values.

I hate the fact that this game never made it across this side of the pond. The Next Generation is an awesome programme and Patrick Stewart is probably the greatest human being alive. A think a 6 is a bit harsh. Anything that has Patrick Stewart in should be an automatic candidate for a 10 or even an 11.
