    Default A new MegaDrive/Genesis game.... Oh Mummy Genesis!! Pre-purchase available!!!

    Today is a good day, a new release for our lovely Blast Processing! This time is a conversion from one Amstrad CPC oldie game Oh Mummy! A funny arcade, but with hightly improved graphics and sounds.

    Jeez, I used to have this game for the ZX Spectrum. Don't remember playing it all that much, but I can't recall it being bad...I certainly approve of anything that involves upgrading old European computer games, especially when the Mega Drive's also involved.

    That's faithful to the original. It makes sense because the goal of "Oh Mummy!" is to "dig" all the boxes in a level up by running around them.

    "Someone's ported that ancient Spectrum game to the Mega Drive" Thenewguy joked to himself as he clicked on the thread.... Oh.... someone actually has ported that ancient Spectrum game to the Mega Drive.... weird

    And yeah, its a Spectrum game, the Amstrad version was one of those launch ports that Amstrad commissioned, the Spectrum version pre-dated the CPC's actual existence by a few months (though the game itself is a knock-off of Amidar anyway IIRC)

    I like what they've done with the graphics, could be interesting I guess.
